Packin' on the pounds!

For most, adding on 18 pounds over the holidays is a bad thing.  Not for Rocky.  Now at 53 pounds, he's turned into a playful and determined dog... he still has a great deal of fight left in him.  And he's not fighting alone.

Rocky has generated several hundred emails and phone calls in support.  He's also brought awareness to animal cruelty in the Midlands area... the Humane Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals has received over 80 complaints so far this year... that's nearly 100% more than average. 

While Save Rocky began to help save a single dog in need, it has transformed into a campaign to end the most common form of animal cruelty; neglect.  Our community is growing.  Along the way, we cannot forget to be the caretakers of our area's pets.  We live in an area known for a high quality of life... let's make certain that pertains to all of our citizens.
